Overview

What are cloud and DevOps services?

Cloud services cover planning, building and moving applications and data to cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS. DevOps covers the practices and automation that take code from a developer to production safely: version control, automated builds and tests, infrastructure as code, deployment pipelines and monitoring.

Together they help teams release more often with fewer failures, run environments that are consistent and secure, and understand what their cloud usage costs.

Who it is for

  • Teams with manual, slow or risky release processes
  • Organizations planning a move from on-premises servers to the cloud
  • Businesses with rising or unpredictable cloud bills
  • Products that need better monitoring and faster recovery from incidents

Cloud work for AI models, such as hosting or MLOps, is covered by our Cloud AI Integration and MLOps services.

Problems and outcomes

Problems cloud and DevOps work solves

  • Risky, manual releasesDeployments depend on individual knowledge, take hours and sometimes break production.
  • Inconsistent environmentsDevelopment, test and production differ, so issues appear only after release.
  • Limited visibilityProblems are reported by users before the team notices them.
  • Growing cloud costsOver-sized resources and unused services make monthly bills hard to control.

Intended outcomes

  • Releases that are faster, repeatable and lower risk
  • Consistent, documented environments
  • Earlier detection of problems and clearer visibility of cloud costs

Solution approach

A repeatable path from commit to monitored release

The illustration above shows the main building blocks. The implementation and boundaries are agreed around your systems and delivery requirements.

  1. Build & test

    Version-controlled changes and automated checks.

  2. Provision

    Repeatable environments, identity and configuration.

  3. Release

Controlled deployment with validation and rollback steps.

  4. Operate

Metrics, alerts, runbooks and cost review.

Industry applications

Where cloud and DevOps can help

Illustrative applications, not claims of completed client projects.

  • Financial services

Separate environments and controlled release approvals for business applications.

  • Logistics

Monitor integration workloads and plan capacity around order-processing peaks.

  • Education

Prepare web platforms for admissions traffic and repeatable deployment.

How it works

How a cloud and DevOps engagement works

  1. Assess

We review your current set-up, release process, costs and risks.

    OutputCurrent-state assessment

  2. Plan

Improvements are prioritized by impact and effort into a roadmap.

    OutputPrioritized implementation roadmap

  3. Automate

Pipelines and infrastructure as code are introduced step by step.

    OutputVersioned infrastructure and pipeline configuration

  4. Migrate

Workloads move in planned waves, tested and with rollback options.

    OutputValidated workload migration

  5. Operate

Monitoring, cost reviews and continuous improvement.

    OutputRunbooks, alerts and improvement actions

Technologies and tools

Platforms and tools we use

Each tool solves a specific problem. We select only what your applications and team need.

    Infrastructure as code

Repeatable, reviewable environments instead of manual setup.

    • Terraform
    • AWS CDK
  • 03 / Technology stack

    Containers

Consistent packaging and, where scale requires it, orchestration.

    • Docker
    • Kubernetes

    CI/CD

Automated build, test and release pipelines.

    • GitHub Actions
    • Azure DevOps

    Monitoring and observability

Metrics, logs and alerts for health and performance.

    • Azure Monitor
    • Application Insights
    • CloudWatch
    • Prometheus
    • Grafana

Not every project needs Kubernetes or a complex platform. Many applications run well on managed app services or serverless options, which are simpler to operate.

Tool selection depends on your existing stack, access, licensing and the agreed scope. Product names identify technologies discussed for this service, not partnerships or certifications.

Deliverables

What you receive

  • Cloud assessment with prioritized recommendations
  • Migration plan with phases, testing and rollback steps
  • Infrastructure configuration as code in your repository
  • Release pipelines for agreed applications
  • Monitoring, alerts and operational runbooks

Dependencies and limitations

How we work

How we work on cloud and DevOps projects

  • Step-by-step changeWe automate and migrate in stages so releases continue while improvements are made.
  • Everything as codeInfrastructure and pipelines live in version control, so changes are reviewed and repeatable.
  • Security built inLeast-privilege access, secrets management and logging are part of the design.
  • Knowledge transferRunbooks and training so your team can operate what we set up.
FAQs

Cloud and DevOps FAQs

Which cloud platforms do you work with?

We work mainly with Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services. We recommend a platform based on your existing systems, skills and requirements.

How long does it take to set up CI/CD?

CI/CD setup depends on the application build, test coverage, environments, access and approval requirements. Assessment defines the scope; larger platform and migration work is phased.

Can you migrate our applications to the cloud without downtime?

Many migrations can be done with minimal downtime using phased moves, data synchronization and planned cut-over windows. We agree the approach and acceptable downtime with you before migrating.

Can you reduce our cloud costs?

We review usage, right-size resources, add autoscaling and set budgets and alerts. Savings depend on your workloads, so we estimate them during assessment rather than promise a fixed figure.

Do we need DevOps if we release only occasionally?

Yes, usually at a lighter level. Automated, repeatable releases reduce risk even when releases are infrequent, and make urgent fixes safer.

Who owns the cloud accounts and configuration?

Infrastructure is normally built in your own Azure or AWS accounts, and infrastructure code and pipelines are stored in your repositories, so you keep full ownership.
